Yeah, I missed that they added it several updates ago and had since moved onto bigwigs for the shadowstrike timers (which I see now are updated on DBM) so it looks like back to dbm.

In our experience, Deus Vox Encounters is far and away the best boss mod these days. The timers and arrow features are pretty awesome and it does the marking for Cold.

Hey folks, the guild i am currently in are trying to down Anub in 25 and so far we have no real issue getting to Phase 3, however at that point something is not going the way it should.
We are using: 1 Protection Warrior and 1 Protection Paladin for handling 2 adds each. 6 Healers, tried 7 and it didn't work quite as well for some reason. Rest DPS, some specced mainly for AoEing. Total of 3 Paladins for BoP and stuff. Is there any general advice i could get for the last Phase that could help us out? Cheers. |

You provide hardly any info and no logs, so it's hard to say what your problem is, however, P3, the leach phase, comes down almost entirely to two factors:
1) Leach healing -- keeping the raid low and alive via Heal stream totems, JoL, and VE 2) Penetrating Cold healing Make sure you have those 2 things totally nailed down and the rest of P3 is no different than P1. |

One of the first things I thought of was that you probably have people with the acidic bite debuff going into the 3rd phase. This is a killer. Instead of being able to control their health with things like healing stream totems, you will have to heal them as if they had a penetrating cold until the debuff falls off. It is very likely that these players will die. As far as keeping players up through leeching swarm, you will want a paladin judging light on Anub'arak, and you will want your caster groups (including healers) to have a Resto shaman healing stream totem(or 2 non-Resto healing stream totems) or a shadow priest that is using VE and that shadow priest will have to primarily single target Anub'arak due to some recent nerfs to how the AoE was healing. Your positioning and AoE tenacity are tantamount in phase 3. Your tanks will have to have great positioning so that the melee are putting out even damage, and it is important that no one in your raid stops the AoE until all of the adds are down. When the adds are down, you can use the time until the next add spawn to allow your offtanks to dip in health which will greatly increase your short term damage to Anub'arak during that time. If your offtanks have trouble with the positioning at a particular moment, the damage of a 3 or 4 stacked Burrower is capable of being healed through, but a paladin will have to stun them if a shadow strike cooldown is imminent. The instant cast shadow strike will almost guarantee a big death that could be the difference between a kill and a wipe. If you are getting close to enrage and you see Anub'arak under 5%, you can start dps on the adds, and have the offtanks take them off of your ice patches and allow them to burrow. This will give you time to burn Anub. Generally my guild saves bloodlust for the first adds to get into position on phase 3. Hopefully this was helpful. |

How are guilds dealing with Anub as of 3.2.2? We killed Twins HM on Sat, doing Anub tonight and want to be as prepared as possible. |
