That's the funny thing: there are people whose brains just work this way. The sort of people who find game exploits exist -- it's not that they spend ten times as much effort in finding an exploit, it's that their brains are just tuned to noticing the places where the game is rough and they may be able to find something "not working as intended" or come up with a creative pairing of ideas.
These people, incidentally, are also the sort you'd absolutely love to have on your QA staff if you could.
Yeah. I have fond memories of exploring terrain bugs when I first started playing in classic. Those were always interesting. I remember several small bugs over the course of my leveling that I found amusing. Now, with progression raiding, running a guild, and attempting to maintain some sort of sanity in game through pvp antics and alts my brain sadly doesn't function that way!
Now, I have found some really neat bugs with Dragon Age Origins, but thats a whole other ball park.
Incidentally, in reference to your QA comment, these are also the people you want on your raiding roster too. I have more respect for people who think "outside of the box" then I do people like myself. Lol.
They're also usually very fun to be around. :D What DAO bugs have you found? I finished my playthrough, so I'm not terrified of spoilers, and I'm playing it again now.
You know. It drives me up the wall to read things like this. I then realize that I am always the last to know about something along those lines.
I mean....how do they come up with the idea to do this. Where!?! It's literally the last thing I would ever think of trying.
