We are still looking for:
- 1-2 excellent warlocks
- 1 holy/ret paladin
And we also have an additional 2-3 spots open for ANYTHING -- any class, any spec. If you're skilled, we'd like to talk to you.
Remember: we never recruit for the bench, all of these are full-time raiding spots.
Recruiting information: Fusion Recruiting
Application: Apply to Fusion!

Hello! Like they say on the radio, ‘long time listener first time caller’. Replace listener with reader, and caller with commenter.
I read your post, and this part:
Even if your class isn’t listed we would consider world class players of any class/spec. We do not ever recruit for the bench, all spots are full-time raiding spots.
I wanted to ask:
How do you manage to raid and not have anyone on the bench? What do you if someone’s internet dies? Power outage? Raider dies IRL? Emergencies? etc.
Did you mean to say all active raiders swap in and out of raids in a timely manner, making a fair system where no one is ‘on the bench’ but still you have the contingency needed to field a 25 man raid regardless of emergencies / eventualities / etc?
Or do you fill in with non raiders for emergencies / eventualities and such?
Hoping to learn from y’all, not a troll or a criticism.
Some guy
That sounds really great. Swapping everyone in and out for 80% of the fights is a p good deal for everyone involved. I would guess this complicates the logistics of the raid, but with enough dedication and organization you can overcome this, right?
Kudos on all your successes, I'll try to mirror your policy in my guild see how it goes (probably won't work, organization is not our strong suit unfortunately (damn guilds lead by 20 year olds 8-( .
Hope u get Yogg S hard mode down soon... mages ftw!

I think this is a terminology issue. You're using "on the bench" meaning "you won't ever be on the bench."
I'm using it the way our applicants use it: asking if they'll be that guy who sits out unless the regular guy can't make it or asks to sit, and then they say "put me in, coach!"
Everyone swaps so everyone gets ~80% (I think that's our usual estimate) of raid time.
What we mean is everyone is a first-class raider. We're not going to recruit, say, a second retadin and then tell him "you're on the bench, you can get in when our regular retadin wants to take the night off." It would mean we would work things with the new retadin and the rest of the melee so everyone saw about the same 80% raid time.
Right now our roster is small and people are seeing closer to 100% raid time -- while this is nice, it also puts us at the mercy of emergencies (and there's always some of those.) It also makes it *very* hard to handle fights where you want more ranged or more melee.

We're also very fast and efficient on our raids even with the swaps :).
But yeah, these are the habits we have, born of years of experience both with Fusion and with other guilds.
Check out http://www.stratfu.com/strats/RaidFast if you haven't already seen it, about raiding quickly and efficiently.
