* Fixed an issue where Mimiron could randomly change targets while casting P3Wx2 Laser Barrage in phase 4. It is still possible for it to appear that he is turning quickly for an instant to shoot another direction, but this is just a visual bug that will be resolved in a future patch.
* The Auriaya encounter has received the following changes: the damage of Strength of the Pack has been increased, the duration of Terrifying Screech has been reduced, the damage of Sonic Screech has been reduced, and the damage from Seeping Feral Essence has been reduced.

Daelo at http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=16473764809&sid=1:
We’re currently in the process of making further difficulty adjustments via hotfix to the following encounters:
Ignis the Furnace Master
Razorscale
XT-002 Deconstructor
The Assembly of Iron
Kologarn
Auriaya
The difficulty of these encounters is being lowered in multiple ways. Some of the adjustments are live already, others will be live soon. Note that some of the spell tooltips for the encounter will not reflect the hotfixes being deployed until the next patch. As the hotfixes are deployed, the Service Status board will be updated. You can check the current hotfix thread here:
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=16474158165&sid=1
Further adjustments are highly likely to some of the other encounters in Ulduar, but these were the highest priority encounters for us. We want to allow additional players to experience more of the cool Ulduar content.

I need some small database querying code written. Requires basic PHP/SQL skills, as well as you having a vbulletin install you can test on (since I can’t easily give you access to this one.)
My estimate is that this is 10-20 lines of code max.
I have the fundamental knowledge (I know a wide variety of languages including sql) but neither the time nor the vbulletin experience.
Alas I can’t offer anything other than credit and many thanks.
If you’re interested, please email: kyth@stratfu.com

Got these via the rumor mill:
- On Kologarn, putting all the melee right in front of Kologarn’s face will prevent them from ever being targeted by Eye Beams.
- On Hodir, sometimes you can be frozen when in a snowdrift because the game decided you moved “into” the snowdrift rather than “onto” it. Do a quick jump when you get on a snowdrift and it should make you less likely to be frozen.

Well we didn’t raid Friday and Saturday like a lot of guilds: we decided to stick with our “we respect real life” rules. We did bend, however, due to how terrible Tuesday/Wednesday were, and started raiding several hours early on Sunday.
It’s a good instance — the bugs aside, it’s challenging and fun. I’m very glad there’s hardmodes though — too many of the bosses we one-shot without ever seeing them before, and we went through Mimiron, General, and Yogg-Saron today and they’re supposedly the hardest there.
Loot is bad of course (no weapons at all, and our drops off YS were pretty unimpressive), but that’s what hard mode is for.
Either way it’s relieving: the guild will be in VEGAS next weekend for a guild get-together and we’re missing at least one maybe two raid days as a result. We’ll fall a bit behind on the hardmodes, but at least we don’t have to wait to kill Yogg-Saron for the first time.
